Our first Friday here

Wow now that I am reflecting back on this, it seems so long ago. Now I am kind of glad that I am so delayed on these posts because it is reminding me of how much has happened in the 4 weeks Ive been here and even helping me to look forward to this last week instead of dreading the end of it. On this day we reviewed the paper shoots. Then we took a trip the La Defense area which is a huge corporate area and also the home of a 6 story mall that is the largest in Europ called Les Quatre Temps. There is a beautiful, modern, arch which was the first thing we saw when we were climbing the stairs out of the Metro (subway). It was breathtaking. The entire area is modern buildings, there are even Hilton corporate offices there as well as a very large Cemetery.  While we were there I was the model for a classmates photo shoot. This was a fairly boring day compared to there others but here are some of the amazing pictures.

The view from the top of the stairs of the Arch. Notice Arc De Triomphe in the distance.

A view of the inside of the arch from the inside of the arch :)

They had these clear pieces of glass staggered to help block the wind Im assuming and also because they were pretty.

The opposite side

A series of half circle buildings that our teacher said created a fun house mirror effect when you walk through it.

The cemetery

The 6 story mall

A random graffitied bush. There is a ton of graffiti all over Paris and no one really seems to mind.
